Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management’s Managed Portfolio Service is now available through the Ascentric wrap platform. The service includes a range of investment portfolios, each with specific objectives in mind and is aimed at those advisers looking to integrate a risk adjusted and cost efficient investment management service into their financial planning process.

Ashcourt Rowan appoints Cofunds to power adviser platform

Ashcourt Rowan plc has appointed Cofunds to power its adviser platform proposition.

To be piloted over the summer before a full roll-out to advisers and clients in September, the new platform will be branded and marketed under the Ashcourt Rowan name, with the business outsourcing services to Cofunds.

  • Over the weekend the Greeks voted out the ruling party. The two main parties, New Democracy and Pasok, attracted less than a third of the vote as there was a surge in support for anti-austerity parties. The New Democracy Party now has 3 days to build a coalition.

Dilnot Proposals: A Victory?

Last week, I gave my view on an article in the Financial Times in which Andrew Dilnot, the Chair of the Commission on Funding of Care and Support, called for David Cameron to override Treasury opposition to his proposed reforms.

The story has progressed this week with Andrew Dilnot claiming victory for his reforms in an interview with New Model Adviser.

To develop relationships with key intermediaries and business introducers, including identifying new potential introducers, and building and maintaining relationships to obtain business introductions. To develop and deliver a business development plan for their area and to support the regional director in achievement of ARFP revenue targets.
